I got this from my writing buddy Sarah… Give yourselves time to watch this, seriously it’s incredible. If not factually correct to thought process on the end of the Earth, civilisation and the universe it utterly mind blowing.
I love skylines, so often a lens doesn’t do them justice but sometimes a wide lens and a moody sky can make a beautiful picture. I wish I could mount some of these at times…Enjoy the views!
I’m sorry, it’s me – I can’t help it. I’ve tried to keep the insanity from the door of this corner of the web but I can’t do it any longer. The world in which we live is wonderful, beautiful and terrible thing and yet there’s few – well quite a lot of people actually…
I can’t talk obviously about the rest of the world, but here in the UK Spring has been a bit of a washout but there have been a few times where the Sun and been able to shine onto the beauty of the Spring and I’ve been able to capture a flavour of it.I hope…
My name is Simon I'm an engineer, creator, free thinker and occasionally writer. For far too long I had ideas and nowhere to put them for the world to see, that's why Planet Simon was created.
I'm an experimenter, explorer and fascinated by the world around me and the people in it. My exploration goes further than the known universe and expands out to universe's I've created in my mind and put onto the creative canvas.
I'm not the person I used to be and over time I have evolved and the blog is evolving with me. Whatever this blog is in the future it's a place where all are welcome and ideas can roam free to find their magical place in the universe.

Really cool! I’m never quite sure if I can trust things that I see on youtube, although this all seems congruent with what I’ve learned from reliable sources. But information age doubts aside, really, very cool. I’ve actually wondered how long the universe could keep going, I thought that the “big rip” was the consensus. Thanks for sharing this!!
And these egotists, puffed up self-servers…in a thousand years time……gone, mostly forgotten except for historians. A thousand years in Universal time, doesn’t even come remotely close to a blink of the eye. Suitable fate for these folk. While Life carries on.

I completely agree Simon. Couldn’t stop watching. That amazing time scale being turned out and I thought 14 billion years was a long time!

Yeah I know, it gives you some kind of idea of how little time a billion years is.

Well exactly. History never thinks kindly on them and their legacy is hollow and worthless.
