NaNoWriMo Progress – Day 11

Hello there bloggies it’s the 11th day of NaNoWriMo and as you can tell I’ve not been here much. I thought a quick well placed post on progress and to say hi might be in order, just so you know I’m still about.

I’ve been able to keep up with reading posts either but I’m still getting though some.

Anyways, I have a book title but I’m sure it’s not going to be the final title, I have no idea what it will be but this is a Sci-Fi, space opera epic set in the future that is crammed with mystery, plot twists and a little on time travel as well.

Here’s where I am… just touching 17,000 words, I’m not sure why it says 0 days straight becasue I’ve been at this for damn 11 days straight and it knows that. I also won’t be finished on December the 3rd it’s just I’ve not written today’s words.

So it’s progressing, I intend to keep it up, 1600 words a day and make it to at least 50k, this will almost certainly not be the full book and I will have to carry on to about 70k ish.

I hope you guys are ok and if anyone else is doing NaNo as well look me up: scifi_simon

  2. Great work 👍👍 my usual daily count is min 1000 – max 2500 now (autumn) but I haven’t written anything yesterday 😳😐 so I have to type at least 1000 today.but all my words goes to “editing/ rewriting book that should be published December-January”

    Do u have a plot for the story and do you change it while working or trying to keep the course

    1. I seem to top out at about 1600 words I can’t seem to get more. But then one been messing about today. What’s your username on nano and I’ll come and find you.

      Sounds like yours is planned out.

      I do have a plot it’s in my head and generally the plot follows it’s course. There’s some minor variation. But generally that’s how it goes.

      8. I don’t do THAT often 😂😂 I started writing only in 2018 🙂 so this December- 4 books, but they r mostly from 110 to 200 pages long :)) so it’s kinda like 1 huge big book outta there 😂 plus 2 of them is poetry
