Blog Orbit – Blog Date November 2019

Hello bloggies, happy November! I cannot believe that we’re now racing towards Christmas. Halloween is done, this is now guy Fawkes Day / night and it’s insane how quickly this year has gone.

So – what’s going on?

Well… a bit of insanity actually. I decided I was going to take part in NaNoWriMo, long story on this but I was signing up to support a fellow blogger in their NaNo project and I got sucked in. But wow am I glad I did, I can’t say the word count is massive but I’m doing ok.

This leads me onto the second point about this – blogging wise this is likely to be a quiet month… I’ll see if I can post updates and all that but I’ll be busy trying to get 50k words done. If you’re doing NaNoWriMo look me up: SciFi_Simon

Last month some of you will have noticed a few ink sketches. I was kind of taking part in Inktober as and when I could and this is some of the drawings. Go and have look if you wank to see more.

I’ve continued (to a point) posting short word prompt stories, there are one or two bloggies that take part but I would really like more… have a look and have a go!

Octobers Blog Battle was called The Clone Soldier, based on the word prompt clone, this is what I came up with. Let me know what you think.


Enigmatic Episodes has continued, an updated and refreshed version of the Sci-Fi files there’s enough here to scare and confuse.

      1. Er. Might want to scroll up and see for yourself. Bit of a typo.

        Yeah…sorry about that. I was waiting on my illustration partner to actually have time to illustrate, but it looks as if I’ll have to mostly dissolve our partnership and just get back to posting already. I shouldn’t have waited 6 months.

My illustration partner is a wonderful, capable, and creative person, but with a tendency to overextend himself, and I have a feeling he agreed to our partnership without fully considering the time and energy he has available to spend. I’ve waited for him for half a year…I think it’s about time I admitted my blog needs to move forward without him.

      5. I have plans. No future posts written yet just because I haven’t had time the past week, but I have plans for astronomy posts lined up through April ’21. My current plan is biweekly posting, Mondays and Thursdays, and sending out the newsletter with links and excerpts every two weeks. Hopefully it’ll work out.

      13. I didnt work today I am actually going to meet a client. I was a medical assistant for over 8 years working in dermatology assisting in surgical procedures. Then slowly opened a small commercial cleaning business that is a work in progress. But its half the hours I have no boss etc it’s all mine ..😊 I am trained In phlebotomy and other things medically but I’m trying this road out will see where it takes me…
