  1. Wow! These are great photograph picks. It is amazing how meteors can impact our planet. I would love to find one. I may be a wimp, but the thought of black holes are a bit disturbing. If I understood the physics of them, it might be different. Thank you Simon, for sharing another excellent bit of the magnificent universe.

    1. Black holes are a long way away. There’s not much to worry about and even if they were close, what can we do about it? Apparently scientists go to the north pole to find meteors, they’re easy to spot in the snow.

      1. Simon, I cannot seem to grasp the entire concept of Dark Matter, and I really want to. Is there any way you can present Dark Matter, perhaps in a series of posts if needed, in layman’s terms for people such as myself? 🙂
