How is it possible? I mean technically, how do people make a 3D pic from the universe? Radio waves?

No, you have a probe orbiting the sun like the Earth is but further way. Pictures are taken at different points giving us a 3D image

But from the whole Milky Way? Or it’s not necessary to take a full round around the sun? Anyhow, that’s a really impressive picture. 🙂

A full orbit will be needed. The further out you go the better the 3D effect.

Hey Simon, I’ve been a bit out of action myself lately. And also struggling to keep up with the reading. Have just returned from a trip to Sale sorting out legal matters.
