It’s blogtober month – if that even means anything – I’m sure most months could be changes to have blog in it somewhere! October was a busy old month and being the spooky season it was easy to see the themes coming though on many posts here on WP and social media. For the most part my posts weren’t that spooky but I had to do something for Halloween right?
A big part of October’s posts have been my series of posts on Science Fiction Concepts and Artificial Intelligence:
There’s been a good deal of discussion on these posts, and a very strong divide between those that think the ideas in this really aren’t good and those that see AI as a powerful tool. If you’ve not read them, have a look and see what you think.
Bob the Ghost came back for his usual Halloween story this year, I hadn’t realised but last year was missed – maybe it was Ghost lockdown too. Who knows? Anyways you can find it here:
What’s coming next? Hmmm let me see. I’ll have to surprise you! I hope you’re all keeping good. Come by and say hello and let me know how’s you’re doing.
Keep safe and keep writing, drawing, thinking, creating, and smiling!
Hello there bloggies! Despite the weather presenting the look that it’s about April we have now arrived in June. We’ve made it this far and yet there still seems so long to go. The cost of living is still up through the roof, the backs seem forever useless and on the brink of collapse too…
I love skylines, so often a lens doesn’t do them justice but sometimes a wide lens and a moody sky can make a beautiful picture. I wish I could mount some of these at times…Enjoy the views!
I’m sorry, it’s me – I can’t help it. I’ve tried to keep the insanity from the door of this corner of the web but I can’t do it any longer. The world in which we live is wonderful, beautiful and terrible thing and yet there’s few – well quite a lot of people actually…

My name is Simon I'm an engineer, creator, free thinker and occasionally writer. For far too long I had ideas and nowhere to put them for the world to see, that's why Planet Simon was created.
I'm an experimenter, explorer and fascinated by the world around me and the people in it. My exploration goes further than the known universe and expands out to universe's I've created in my mind and put onto the creative canvas.
I'm not the person I used to be and over time I have evolved and the blog is evolving with me. Whatever this blog is in the future it's a place where all are welcome and ideas can roam free to find their magical place in the universe.

That paper fact is true—we’ve tried it several times with different kinds of paper to prove it to our sceptical daughter!
