Blog Orbit – Blog Date September 2021

Hello there bloggies!

I’m really late this month – we’re nearly through September before getting my start of the month post in… Ugh why is it hard at times to muster the creative spirit. Can someone please answer me that as I need it back a bit. Things haven’t been too great this month either – but that’s another subject…

On the good side it’s now my favorite time of year – Autumn (or fall for you guys over the pond – never understood it really I’m not falling anywhere it’s just the leaves off the trees).

Since the last orbit there have been a few things here to amuse and entertain… A few.

The first off was my post capturing the band of the Milky Way – with my Smartphone. I have to say I was pretty impressed that this could be done. It’s not the best way don’t get me wrong and at some point I will be having a go at taking loads of pics and stacking them with my proper camera.

But for now… this is pretty neat.

We went back to some Spacey mishaps with 100 Ways to Die and Space and the ill effects of putting too much effort into jumping. It sounds a bit naff but you know – things don’t work the same in space as they do on Earth. Jumping too hard could lead you into a spot of serious bother…

The Wallagong Beast

Also in the mix has been some Did you know… posts. One of which is the one on the Pacific Ocean which has surprised some, mainly becasue the fact that rockets get dumped in the middle of it.

The Philosophical conundrums posts have also raised a few eyebrows and given people to comment… 2 that are most noteworthy are Schrodinger’s Cat and the Wooden Boat – if you don’t know what it’s all about, have a look and see what you think.

I actually feel like there’s a post coming on these posts, there’s some interesting thinking here most of it is coming from the simple fact that we’re limiting ourselves in the context of the question… watch out for that!

I hope you all out there keep safe and keep writing, drawing, thinking, creating, and smiling! Let me know how you’re getting on!

A Lens to the Sky

I love skylines, so often a lens doesn’t do them justice but sometimes a wide lens and a moody sky can make a beautiful picture. I wish I could mount some of these at times…Enjoy the views!

Thinking about it makes it Hurt – The Tax System

I’m sorry, it’s me – I can’t help it. I’ve tried to keep the insanity from the door of this corner of the web but I can’t do it any longer. The world in which we live is wonderful, beautiful and terrible thing and yet there’s few – well quite a lot of people actuallyโ€ฆ

A Flavour of Spring

I can’t talk obviously about the rest of the world, but here in the UK Spring has been a bit of a washout but there have been a few times where the Sun and been able to shine onto the beauty of the Spring and I’ve been able to capture a flavour of it.I hopeโ€ฆ

  1. agree with Jay’s comment, many are finding our strange times too challenging, exhausted at doing so little ๐Ÿ™‚ Your muse shall return … and by the way it’s actually spring – feeling more like winter – here down under ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. I am still waiting for the strawberry information. Don’t worry about the creativity everyone has been going through that this year. Almost all the bloggers I follow at one point or time have bemoaned the lack of spark when it comes to writing. This too shall pass. Have a great day. ๐Ÿ™‚
