I’ve hear about this Inktober thing for years now and I’ve never thought about taking part. While I’m not really taking part fully I thought I might dive in some days.
Today’s theme was snow, this one gave me some issues – how does one draw snow and I wasn’t going to go for the snowflake. But I got this from my mind.
I love skylines, so often a lens doesn’t do them justice but sometimes a wide lens and a moody sky can make a beautiful picture. I wish I could mount some of these at times…Enjoy the views!
I’m sorry, it’s me – I can’t help it. I’ve tried to keep the insanity from the door of this corner of the web but I can’t do it any longer. The world in which we live is wonderful, beautiful and terrible thing and yet there’s few – well quite a lot of people actually…
I can’t talk obviously about the rest of the world, but here in the UK Spring has been a bit of a washout but there have been a few times where the Sun and been able to shine onto the beauty of the Spring and I’ve been able to capture a flavour of it.I hope…

My name is Simon I'm an engineer, creator, free thinker and occasionally writer. For far too long I had ideas and nowhere to put them for the world to see, that's why Planet Simon was created.
I'm an experimenter, explorer and fascinated by the world around me and the people in it. My exploration goes further than the known universe and expands out to universe's I've created in my mind and put onto the creative canvas.
I'm not the person I used to be and over time I have evolved and the blog is evolving with me. Whatever this blog is in the future it's a place where all are welcome and ideas can roam free to find their magical place in the universe.

I would love to be able to draw, I’m just not good at it, despite taking art classes. That doesn’t mean I don’t adore art. I just have to express myself in other means. 😄
Very evocative Simon. A plain drawing with a few salient points always strikes home. Just a hint of the weather with the dusting of snow, two icicles on each sign and the simple wording makes for an arresting image.
Did you use a ruler for this one? The lines are really straight.
That’s a creative portrayal of snow. I expected a bunch of dots (snow falling from the sky).
Very nice! Drawing isn’t my forte.

Thank you… It’s a shame but I guess it’s not everyone’s thing. 😀

Aww that’s a shame. I would try and teach you if I could. I’m not expert and I usually wing it most of the time lol
