Hello everyone, as you might have guessed from the title I’ve been doing some doodling. I’ve not been able to dedicate much time to big designs so I’ve been having a play with what I can do in about an hour or less.
These are what I’ve come up with:
This came straight out of my mind, the kind of small spacecraft that might be in my Blog Battle story Blue Siren.
I need to work on this kind of doodle a bit, it didn’t quite turn out how I wanted it.
I quite liked this idea, I might try again at it and see how much better it can be.
I find eyes are hard to draw, so I’ve been learning close up and this was the result. Not bad eh?
What about you guys? Any doodles or little sketches you’ve done recently? Why not show them off?
I love skylines, so often a lens doesn’t do them justice but sometimes a wide lens and a moody sky can make a beautiful picture. I wish I could mount some of these at times…Enjoy the views!
I’m sorry, it’s me – I can’t help it. I’ve tried to keep the insanity from the door of this corner of the web but I can’t do it any longer. The world in which we live is wonderful, beautiful and terrible thing and yet there’s few – well quite a lot of people actually…
I can’t talk obviously about the rest of the world, but here in the UK Spring has been a bit of a washout but there have been a few times where the Sun and been able to shine onto the beauty of the Spring and I’ve been able to capture a flavour of it.I hope…
My name is Simon I'm an engineer, creator, free thinker and occasionally writer. For far too long I had ideas and nowhere to put them for the world to see, that's why Planet Simon was created.
I'm an experimenter, explorer and fascinated by the world around me and the people in it. My exploration goes further than the known universe and expands out to universe's I've created in my mind and put onto the creative canvas.
I'm not the person I used to be and over time I have evolved and the blog is evolving with me. Whatever this blog is in the future it's a place where all are welcome and ideas can roam free to find their magical place in the universe.

Love it! Especially when it’s not all this digital drawing.
I am a bit inbetween. I draw by pen and pen, take a picture and then color it in via an app.
After I take a picture. I use a free background remover via https://www.remove.bg/.
Then I use an app called “Color Pop” to color it in. I think it’s about 5 EURO or so.
And that’s it. Nothing really fancy 😉
And this is all iPhone btw
Wow you are quite talented and I loved your doodles. I have to admit the brick wall was my favorite, but the eye looks awesome too and I do know how hard hey are to draw. Great job.
Thank you so much, it’s interesting I think the brick wall could do with more work on it to make the bricks more realistic. It’s all in the ye and mind of the person looking. Thank you for coming by 🙂
My pleasure and we as artists probably always look at our work with skeptic eye, thinking it could be better. There is no harm in it and it helps us to keep aspiring as long as we don’t forget to celebrate the wins along the way. I have a acrylic painting I did a long time ago that has an exposed brick wall like that 😉
Beautiful artwork! Impressive!.👍😉

That’s a good way to do it, I’ve not done that yet – what app do you use?

I really enjoy drawing eyes. Reflections are tricky, though. You did a really good job with that!

I took a picture but forgot to attach it in the email. Will try to remember next time, but don’t expect too much. It can’t be compared to yours 😉
