Hi there bloggies, I’ve been seeing some post warning me of an A – Z Challenge and I was curious. I’ve seen this around before but have never participated, for some mad reason I thought I would give it a go.
So here I am.
My theme is the A-Z of Scifi moves, I’ve not given this a great deal of thought and I know of a number but I won’t lie there’s some I will struggle with. I hope you enjoy them!
S is for Star Wars
Arguably the most famous Sci-Fi / Space Opera film of all time. Luke Skywalker finds himself in the middle of the battle between the evil Empire and the Galactic Rebellion when two new droids come into his care.
When R2D2 is discovered to be carrying the plans of the invincible Death Star Luke is helped by an aging Jedi, Obi Wan to find a way to get the plans to safe hands and not into the hands of the evil Darth Vader
I remember Star Wars from when I was very young and remember going to see it and the Empire Strikes back back to back when I was about 6 or 7, back in the days when there were just 2 films!
Sure there’s no a great deal of science in it but George Lucas created some unique and ground breaking concepts that have not been bettered 40 years later, the death star being a key example of that.
I love skylines, so often a lens doesn’t do them justice but sometimes a wide lens and a moody sky can make a beautiful picture. I wish I could mount some of these at times…Enjoy the views!
I’m sorry, it’s me – I can’t help it. I’ve tried to keep the insanity from the door of this corner of the web but I can’t do it any longer. The world in which we live is wonderful, beautiful and terrible thing and yet there’s few – well quite a lot of people actuallyβ¦
I can’t talk obviously about the rest of the world, but here in the UK Spring has been a bit of a washout but there have been a few times where the Sun and been able to shine onto the beauty of the Spring and I’ve been able to capture a flavour of it.I hopeβ¦

I'm not the person I used to be and over time I have evolved and the blog is evolving with me. Whatever this blog is in the future it's a place where all are welcome and ideas can roam free to find their magical place in the universe.

Of course! Itβd been a little strange if youβd have picked anything else π Goodness knows how many times Iβve seen Star Wars & still love it!!
Had to be. The impact on culture like a proverbial meteor. To name but two. Comic books are still being produced (some of my favourites), There is a whole ‘encyclopaedia’ of models from the Lego range (sent a copy to one of my grandsons). And the first film still looks fresh today…

That’s good to know, you’ve got to love a Star Wars film and I think it appeals to women in ways that maybe other films don’t π

Of course S would be for Star Wars! Definitely a classic! Though I thought you’d probably could’ve done S for Star Trek too π
