An amazing year of Planet Simon

So, finally I’ve got around to saying goodbye to 2016 on this blog. It’s been a tough start to the year with one thing and another, but hopefully will get better personally and see it bloom into a good year.

Looking back on my 2016 blog and writing wise – it was a great year. Looking back I can’t believe some of the things I’ve written. I’ve had so much inspiration from you my fellow bloggies to write more, new different things that its shown me my passion for writing and a taste of what I can really do.

So let’s have a look:

First off let’s look at some of my writing achievements, the biggest piece I’ve written to date is a scifi adventure called The Titan Mystery about the crew of a spacecraft that gets trapped in a time bubble around a huge spacecraft it was surveying.

I’ve been writing a series on The Adventures of Minecraft Steve and it’s something I’ve loved doing and want to do more of. I still have a bit to finish off on a long running story – but I’m hoping to get around to that soon!

On the Brink of Midnight and The Enemy within the Rings are other shorter stories that came from the Blog Battles run by Rachel Ritchey.

A project that I was also pleased with was my series on Solar System Exploration, each post covered a planet or dwarf planet in the solar system, while I made sure there were some good fact in there I was keen to make sure it was more of a story about each object. It’s not finished yet and I’m hoping to go on with this series and then with more – there’s a whole universe out there!

Other things I’ve done have been:

Thoughts on SciFi Films

Minion Thoughts

Where my feet have been

Geeky Stuff

Waxing Poetic

And this is by no means all of it, there’s been pictures too with my magazine Circuit Mechanix and Numpty’z too and just life… the universe and a bit of everything really!

Stick around for the ride this year, I’m not going to be about as much as I was, but I’ve got so many good bloggy friends here and I’m going to try and keep up with you too! Let’s make 2017 a great year shall we?

Simon 🙂
