A week of great thougths and posts

Thank God it’s Friday! The weekend is only a couple of hours away and the smell of freedom is sweet!

My good friend Erika frequently does a weekly review and I thought I would try something similar. With of course the cartoon person she frequents us with. Thanks for the ideas and help with this Erika! So this is a selection of my best posts for this week, I hope you like what I’ve done with this round up – it’s very me IĀ  think!

As my regualr bloggies know I’ve got a music post for most days of the week and a frequent spattering of space related posts. To be honest that’s been most of this week as I’ve been really busy at work and at home so I’ve not got a lot to put on this first weekly round up. Really this week, I’ve been an interstaellar DJ and here are a few select posts of that mix…

This has also been a good week for awards. The Creative Blogger Award came my way thanks to Genevieve and the Versatile Blogger Award given to me by Survivednarc. I’m always very thankful for awards as it shows that the hard work I put in is appreciated. So thank you again my friends for the nominations.

If you’ve gigen me a nomination recently, please bear with me as I’m playing a little catch up – I’ve not forgotten you! šŸ™‚

I find the funniest things in normal situations. Often coming from something to rant about, something that annoys us. I had a rant this week about a noisy drinker in my office – this is what I had to say:

Being a blogger can sometimes feel a bit like this. So it’s great when a great bloggie does a meet and greet get together. This is what Niki does and I couldn’t help but get involved..

My personal best post of the week from another bloggie is this one from Sacha Black:

A Writers' Guide to Science Fiction vs. Reality – Alien Species

I thought it was completely brilliant. It’s all that a sci fi geek could ask for. Prompting us to ask if the answer to if we’re alone in the universe has already been answered. I recommend reading it if you’re into that sort of thing.

So there we are, this weeks round up and my first one done – what did you think?

  1. Great idea….agree that the cartoons add to it too …it kind of ties up everything making it easier to follow ….and given your stuff ranges from the mundane slurpings of a colleague …to the weird and wonderful goings on in outer space that’s no mean feat …great blog Simon:)

      1. Blooming heck …you’ve spoilt it now …thought you’d done them yourself ….
Actually I did …but only kidding …they really do add to it …and pulling all your posts together like that is a great idea:)
