The Playlist Shuffle Tag

I almost missed Claire from Art&Soul tagging me in The Playlist Shuffle Tag. I’ve not seen this tag before and it’s having fun with music so how could I resist? Especially since I do post a music track most days!

The rules: are simple! Put your music on shuffle and list the first 15 songs to play (no cheating) then tag 10 others to do it as well.

I’m nor sure what some of you are going to make of my list, love it or hate it – let me know!

My random playlist (with links to Youtube):

Duduk of the North (from the Film Gladiator)

End of line (Daft Punk from Tron Legacy)

Again again (Laday Gaga)

How can I keep singing? (Camilla Kerslake)

Sweet Dream (Beyonce)

Budgie (from the move Rush)

Aggresive Expansion (hans Zimmer from the Dark Knight)

None Shall live (Two Steps from Hell)

Asimov (Two steps from Hell)

Cross of Antiquan (Two Steps from Hell)

Pomp and Circumstance (Edward Elgar)

Evacuate the Dancefloor (Cascada)

Rescue (The Expendables)

Cirith Ungol (Howard Shore from Lord of the Rings)

Sparrow (Simon & Garfunkel)

These are the great bloggies I’m tagging in this:

Lennon

Erika

Chronicles of a Blogaholic

Mia

Patricia Swift

heroicallybadwriters

Miriam

Dr Meg

Erin

Morgan

Lucy

Laura

Charley

I’ve picked a few bloggies that I’m interested in hearing a sample of their music collection. I know, I’ve done more than ten, I got carried away! All of the bloggies are great – go and check their blogs out. If anyone else feels left out or something just join in! As always, please don’t feel like you have to do this tag. But I would love it if you do.

Simon 🙂

      1. You’re welcome Simon. All’s well here, thank you, time moves faster than I would like, but that’s just a math problem. 🙂 How has your day been? I hope you have great plans for tonight, assuming the cold is under control. In any event I wish you a lovely evening. ~ Mia

      2. I’m at home, it’s cold and dark and windy outside so Ill stay in and see if I can get time for dome writing or blogging.
Time always moves too fast when I’m having fun too. Sounds like you’re having a good day. I hope you have some awesome plans for later… or even now. 😃

      3. The thing I remember about the UK is that it rains ALL the time. Can’t go anywhere without an umbrella, ha-ha. Yes, I would stay in also if it was dark, cold and windy. I hate to tell you that we have been having a very mild winter, last week the temp was in the high 80’s. The forecast is for some rain this weekend, but I think it’s unlikely. The news here makes a big deal about it, “STORM WATCH” I think it’s for ratings! Wishing you a creative and inspirational evening. Please enjoy your weekend. 🙂

      4. I cringe at how media makes news from mediocre events. It happens here too. The rain does stop here… it does, seriously lol.
Ill do my best to have fun and be creative. You too though eh Mia?

  1. I’m really glad you could do this tag! I have quite a few soundtracks on my ancient MP4 too, and I would like to get more, but since having my son my memory isn’t what it was and I keep forgetting!
I’m surprised no classical music popped up when I did the random selection. I put a load of stuff on my MP4 when I was trying to choose wedding music and it’s still on there!

    1. I was more than pleased to do it! I loved it, so thanks for nominating me. Why don’t you get some more music? If you go to amazon they give you a downloading tool, also any CD’s you’ve brought from them in the last few years will be in available to download from your account.

If it’s ancient but works, that’s always good, you obviously have resisted the smarphone?

      1. I have a smartphone but don’t use it or my MP4 for music anymore. Basically because I used to listen to music when commuting or walking about. Now I’m always keeping an ear open in case the toddler tries to kill himself/makes any distress noises, so listening to anything else doesn’t happen!
Perhaps when he goes to school 🙂

  2. Thanks for this and thanks again for the mentions… I’ll have to check these out. And give it shot. (Just finished ripping my 100+ cds & downloadings my…err…downloads on my new laptop; then setting up a playlist to write by).
    Cheers

  3. Hey Simon, thanks for the mention and the tag. I’m a bit slack when it comes to completing these sorts of challenges but I love love love music so I’ll definitely keep it on my ‘to do’ list. Cheers.
