This is a beautiful picture captured by Cassini of Saturns rings and apparently three of it’s moons. It’s a wonderful and amazing universe we’re part of and despite all of our failing, this is evidence we are capable of such great things when we as humans work together to achieve something.

I can only agree, Simon! Amazing, fascinating, mind blowing…. and I experience it whenever I look at the night sky which I do as often as possible!

I like star gazing too… on a cold dark night it’s breathtaking.

Also on a warm summer night. But in winter it alwas appears as if the stars sparkled a lot more!

Yes, the cold air takes away most of the ripple from heat distortion and much of the dust and pollen pollutants aren’t there. That’s why Winter shines more.

Always a pleasure… there is nothing like the night sky on a cold winter’s night. It’s like the universe has been polished.
